Ongoing assessments and evaluation of progress and achievements provides a way to determine and measure goals. FPSD strives to provide timely and meaningful student achievement information to students, parents and guardians, teachers, and the community. An important piece of Title I is parent involvement. Research shows that how well students do in school depends a great deal on how much their parents get involved in their education. By becoming an active participant in the Title I parent involvement plan at FP, you will serve as a role model, showing your student that you support his or her education; assure that you are aware of your student’s educational progress, thereby demonstrating how important that progress is to you; and teach your student that your input at the school is appreciated and that you support its efforts.
