Growth Mindset

Counselors at FPHS are encouraging students to have a Growth Mindset rather than a Fixed Mindset. Individuals who are growth minded see intelligence as being developed rather than static. They embrace challenges and demonstrate persistence rather than avoiding obstacles and seeing effort as futile. Changing the way we think about challenges can make a difference.  “Great works are performed, not by strength, but by perseverance.-Samuel Johnson
